  • If you can't make it to the conference this is an alternative to this great training. Register before February 20th and we will send you an email on February 27th with the Zoom Meeting Link to access the training on February 28th and March 2nd 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST. This will enable you to live stream both classroom days of training including the Key Note Speaker.

    Training certificates will be available for attending the virtual training conference.

  • Vendors will have an 8x10 exhibit space at conference hotel and registration for one vendor representative to attend the banquet and field trip. Please contact us if more than one representative will attend the banquet or field trip.

    Set-up will be Monday February 27th from 3 - 6 PM. Or the 28th before 8:00 AM.
    Vendor Exhibit will be any or all days of the conference, February 28th - March 3rd. We anticipate the opening day, February 28th will be the most attendance day. We always invite our vendors to be with us for the entire conference including the field trip.

  • This registration is for the field trip. This is an educational field day to learn firsthand how other agencies function.
  • Are you bringing a spouse or guest to the banquet?
    Use this if you didn't add your spouse or guest in your registration. If they are not participating in any conference meals or training sessions and only attending the banquet, then the fee is $50.
    Banquet dress is business casual or class A agency uniform.

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Board of Directors Meeting – PLEA Executive Board and Board Members.

Tuesday, February 28

6:30 AM -7:45 AM – Breakfast on your own.

7:00 AM -8:00AM – Registration and Meet & Greet – Outside of Classroom.

8:15 AM – Opening Ceremonies. Welcome by PLEA President and Host Agency.
Colors and pledge by the Tennessee State Parks Honor Guard.

8:30 AM – 10:00 AM – High Risk Recreation Panel Discussion. – Tennessee State Parks Managers Jacob Young, George Shinn, Damon Graham, Ray Cuthcer, Angelo Giansante and Josh Kuykendall.

10:30 AM – 11:15 AM – Hate Crimes and Protests- JR Tinch, Assistant Chief Ranger Tennessee State Parks.

8:30 AM – Arrive at Natchez Trace Bridge.

10:40 AM – Arrive at Radnor Lake State Natural Area.

  • ·       11:45 AM – 12:30 PM – Lunch provided by “Friends of Radnor Lake.”

12:40 PM – Vans Depart.

1:05 PM – Arrive at the Parthenon.

  • ·       Metro Nashville Parks.  A re-creation of the Greek Parthenon sits in the park.

2:00 PM – Vans Depart.

2:10 PM - Arrive at Bicentennial Capital Mall State Park.

  • ·       Park is in downtown Nashville.
  • ·       Presentation on large scale event management.

3:15 PM – Vans Depart.

3:15 PM – 5:15 PM – Explore Nashville on your own, no transportation provided.

4:00 PM – Arrive at Montgomery Bell State Park.

6:30 PM – 8:30 PM – Awards Banquet. Dinner is provided. Fund raising raffle.
